4WD
Emu Creek Extreme Retreat began in 1992 and was Officially opened to the public as a four wheel drive park in 1996. The Birthplace of rock crawling in Australia, Emu Creek and its Battle of the States competition was legendary and unsurpassed. These days standard four wheel drives are more of an all wheel drive shopping trolley and modified means it no longer has any resemblance to a street legal car. So events have changed to suit the vehicles and the sport as a whole and there is a plethora of different events to suit your style and ability.

Emu Creek now looks to keep the 4X4 sporting industry environmentally sustainable and as low impact as reasonably possible. Emu Creek Extreme Retreat has a range of varying tracks to suit your ability and machine. Accidents when four wheel driving at your limits may always cause Damage to the vehicle and we don’t  recommend the park to "all wheel drive" suburban vehicles. We have a core group of 4x4 followers and Clubs who frequent the park and we restrict our bike and car numbers to give you a better holiday.

Spares... well that’s minimal, but we do have a couple of models of running 4X4's that we borrow parts off to get you going again. Check our product section for what we stock in General. We have a mig welder and tools should the need arise.

Recovery- There are two options, $30 / hr to ride a bike to where your stuck and check it out, if required, or drive it out, quick and cheep. OR $60 / hr for  a recovery vehicle to get you out and back to base. All Times are Office to Office.

Fire wood  is collect your own and there is plenty out on the 4x4 tracks.

DON’T  BE AFRAID OF MOTOR BIKES, Emu Creek Is Different to the other mixed sport parks you may have been too and we try hard to keep it fair and even and we have had no complaints. Emu Creek management keep you separated for everyones safety. Cars have the majority of the park with 2000 acres to play on. Because the sleepy families don’t want to hear you party and driving at night and you don’t want their children riding into your car during the day! Noise affliction from the bikes is minimal compared to the big rigs in convoy. Remember the kids are occupied and not breaking into houses. Be considerate of those sleeping when night driving and getting access to the property.

Many 4x4 drivers are into the sport to go into the wilderness to get the perception that no people have been there before. Some like to leave there mark for all to see and decide to clean the rubbish out of there car into the bush, making a unsightly mess for years to come. Please those who persist in bringing down the repute of the people in 4X4's by leaving rubbish around the country side, STOP IT,  you have a big steel thing with wheels that can carry the rubbish to a responsible refuse site. Don’t Embarrass yourselves by being ignorant or us by Having to say it.
