12hr/6hr Mountain Bike race

This is a fun event open to anyone with a mountain bike. But you better do some training! Beginners, novices, veterans and elite riders are all welcome to come out to the north eastern NSW community and enjoy the weekend of riding/racing and entertainment.

Emu creek is a beautiful family friendly location, with swings and a bmx track for the kids as well as swimming holes and short walks from the campgrounds to catch all the Mountain bike racing action (budding family photographers take note).

Camping facilities include:
Grassy spots
Fresh clean rain water
Hot showers and toilets
Fire pits

New! Course info:
7k course (25 - 35 minute approx). We are starting the Lunatic fringe at the GP Moto track and using more of the Enduro X trail which means a shorter course lap with a little less climbing and more fun!.
Trail surface is a combination fast clay (fire roads and Moto X track), sandy/fast hard clay/rocky sections (Enduro Moto X track). This is a fun course with banked corners in places and opportunities for airtime on the jumps and tabletops (if thats your motivation!).

Saturday 9th May: Lunatic Fringe
Registration Opens at 6am closes at 9.30am.
Lunatic fringe (12hr Team race)  10am - 10pm (9th)
Sweet Six (6hr Team race)  10am - 4pm (9th)


Please note: All Teams and Solo riders must have Lights front and rear.
(Sunset 5.11pm)

6hr riders dont need lights. All 12hr teams/solo riders must have 5hrs light power to ride the night section.

All riders get weighed at registration for Hydration monitoring.
Lighting system charging facilities will be available.
Yes you can bring generators, and Yes there are camp fires!

Luna kids (8 to 14 years) (24 minute race) 2.30pm $Free entry (Kids can use BMX bikes if they want too)
Luna dirt crits (15 minute races) 1pm, 4pm
(The Luna crits free to riders already registered in the 6hr/12hr race, otherwise its a $20 entry fee on the day)
Sunday 10th activities:
9am: Group Enduro fun ride (15k return) to the Clarence river(2hrs), swimming, bbqs, music and more
